• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

The other thing that needs addressing is for those turning left from the East Stand and forcing them down the (largely unlit) path by the river before heading back up behind the North car park (even more unlit) to the dual carriageway. Last season the entry was through the car park which worked as the car park was shut.

In the final pinch point you are met with fans coming the other way - both home and away - its a flashpoint waiting to happen

At risk of derailing this thread you're spot on. It never ceases to amaze me how it always seems to come as a shock to them that quite a lot of people will come down at half time wanting some sort of refreshment. Beggars belief.
Majority of the staff have never worked behind a bar before and often seem surprised where all these people have come from at half time.

We need staff who know what they're doing and getting rid of those ridiculous ordering screens in the West would also be very welcomed. It's like shopping in Argos.

This is something that needs addressing somehow. Get our fans behind both goals. Southampton Stoke Derby the latest to move fans into corners and give them a piss poor view.
Just think it would generate more of an atmosphere with our fans behind the goal. Having 5 or 600 visiting fans behind the goals with large chunks of empty seats doesn't do much for the atmosphere.

Thought it was now lit?

Are we expecting a fine for all the idiots chucking things at the linesman and on to the pitch? Christ there's some stupid people about.
