• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

South Africa first innings 55 all out.
India first innings 153 all out.
South Africa second innings 62-3.

Close on day one.

India went from 153-4 to 153 all out. Crazy day, couldn’t take your eyes off it.

Did you hear what Ravi Shastri said?

Some reports regarding this Test Series suggest and after this days play , maybe the players are more concerned on their appearence in the IPL , Aussie Big Bash , other T20 tournaments , crowds in India for Whack it cricket are a money spinner .

Let us hope this is not the end of Test Cricket , Brian Johnston , Richie Benaud then Henry Blofeld in the mix , painted the picture of the game , broadcast on Radio 4 LW back in the day , somehow felt you were there by their words .

John Arlott did I believe comment the views from the Pavillion End at St.Helens over the Bay were a sight to see .

Take a passing interest in most cricket now , look in on Glamorgan /Cardiff CCC scores , bit of a die hard fan base I once was .
