• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Good. MAybe them Luton fkers will stop beating us on our own ground now.

I can't see him keeping them up - very odd change for them (IMO)

Hope he takes them down, gets sacked and never works again! Blokes a c**t!

He's a decent manager, but I've always thought his ability more suited to lower paid underdog players with no egos working hard to be a functioning but limited team. Not sure (like at Stoke) that transfers to PL or ex-PL highly paid underachieving players with massive egos.

If I'd been recruiting I would have weighted the Stoke outcome heavily compared to the Luton ones.

File under 'interesting experiment'.

Good to see that they have taken a punt on a very enthusiastic young manager rather than the usual dinosaurs to get them out of the shyyte.
Not sure it will work though.

It'll end in tears, be surprised if it doesn't, he produced a team of intimidating thugs at Luton, hope he crashes and burns.

He is a windup merchant and is as a coiled spring on the touch line, he kicks every ball. History has shown he should not be judged harshly at Stoke City. He deserves a chance at the top league.
I feel our friends in the capital have missed a trick by not appointing him as their manager. He is a Bluebird.⚽⚽⚽
