Russell Martin for them? Please.

Amazingly Nathan Jones seems to be at the front of the odds

They're very close in the league with similar budgets seemingly. And Russ is from that way, well Brighton.

I've got a job in Southampton Friday I'll drop for free. I can also contact reasonable removal firms for the best prices

Wouldn't have thought Nathan Jones would be their choice he promotes thuggish football which isn't the type of football Southampton are used to playing, very strange choice IMO.

Never done anything other than make Luton a bog dog championship team. Failed miserably at Stoke with money. What is wrong with the people making these appointments. Zero risk management. Might as well go with Rowett, or Martin, or Mowbray. It always could work of course, and they might end up better off than, say, Villa, but it’s an unbelievable gamble. Villa go and get Emery, Soton go and get Jones.

Bet saints fans are buzzing with NJ being favourite. He's done well with Luton but if there was ever a case of a manager and club connecting surely that would be it. However double or triple his wages and go back to Luton after his payday like he did at Stoke.

Now this is more plausible than Nathan fecking Jones

"Southampton are admirers of Brentford boss Thomas Frank and also discussed River Plate manager Marcelo Gallardo. (Guardian)"
