• We have today (22nd April) confirmed the closure of JackArmy.net on 31st May. Our reasons are varied but after a twenty-five year stint at the heart of the online Swansea City community, the time is right for us to bow out.

Southampton

Wrexham and Oxford were also spied upon.

One missed out on the play-offs and the other were relegated. Where there is blame there is claim?

Middlesbrough sued Derby a few years back when Derby were found guilty of financial irregularities having pipped them to a playoff spot. They settled for about £2m.

Not sure if anything like that will happen this time as Southampton finished well clear of 7th and as has been said only won 1 point from the 2 other games. I'm sure clubs will be looking into it though.

It's certainly going to be an interesting few days, weeks.

As I said , i never thought they’d be expelled from the final but now that decision has been made I don’t see what an alternative punishment could be.
The original panel would look pretty stupid if they’re reinstated.

The appeal will be that the punishment is excessive not that they're innocent.
Maybe they’ll drop next seasons point deduction as a compromise. I wouldn’t be surprised if that was added so a successful appeal could take it off. If they hadn’t added it, a successful appeal on excessive punishment would be an automatic ‘back in the final’. So I think it’s a way of a successful appeal still meaning they won’t be In the final anyway.
Missing out on a game to get to the prem will be the biggest loss.

Fantastic news, couldn't happen to a more detested bunch of cheats.

This bit cracked me up,,,

“The admitted breaches concern fixtures against Oxford United in December 2025, Ipswich Town in April 2026 and Middlesbrough in May 2026.

Southampton did not win any of the three games - they lost 2-1 at Oxford, drew 2-2 at home to Ipswich and claimed a 0-0 draw at Boro.”
Hilarious!

And this gentlemen is double bubble - Not only do they miss the premier league fortune - but their parachute payments will also be greatly reduced in year 2 forcing them to potentially cut the wage bill and sell assets.
In an ideal world they will also start on minus 4 points and with a new coaching team.
If Carlsberg made tuesdays!!

This is what happens when you let Russell Martin manage your football club see. If he hadn’t got them relegated by being a monumentally useless fraud they’d never have had to cheat to try and get back up.
Lets not also forget using insider information from Russel to try to save a few quid on his contract buyout with us two years ago. The odious shit stain of a club has more than a little bit of previous for breaking the rules

I said in the playoff thread that I would find it immensely satisfying if they got past Boro only to be thrown out. Couldn't happen to a more deserving club
