• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Any of you guys coming over around the time of the Stevenage friendly? I was pretty astonished when I heard about the training camp being held in Murcia in mid July. The temperature then is likely to be savage. Today, for example, it's forecast to be 38°C.

I don't like friendlies at the best of times, they are usually a pretty poor spectacle, with ten subs at halftime, etc. It's a two hour drive south of where I live. The pictures of the stadium suggest no shade whatsoever for spectators. If they charge a stupid admission price on top, I'm likely to give it a miss.

Thanks for the weather info Mike, way too hot for my liking, I'll stick with the Exeter game.

Don't think I'll be making the 5 hour ish drive, it'll be a kick about played at a snails pace in the heat. Btw it's a mere 34° here today😎

I'm at Exeter, along with 2 others, doing an overnighter. with a 1pm KO we can do quite a few drinks afterwards.
