You wanted all these players, you’ve now got them. Pointless worrying about the finances after the fact. It’s suck it up time now.

And no one really has a clue what we’ve actually spent.

I’m sure we’d all rather have the potential selection headache instead of a paper thin squad that lacked any quality in depth.
Plenty of games to be played so hopefully everyone will get an opportunity at some point….still it’s going to be a real juggling act worthy of a place on BGT

Last season our bench was so pitifully threadbare that Williams and Sheehan would often not use the full substitution slots at all (Williams in particular). This is a squad that can genuinely compete at the top end of the Championship

A word of caution, not trying to pee on anybody’s optimism parade but a lot of clubs have done some decent business and their fans will be feeling the same.
Tough,tough league as we all know made even tougher by the financial power of some clubs but hopefully this window will allow us to do more than just tread water.

If it were the previous ownership, I'd be terrified they'd taken up crack for a pastime.

But this lot know what they're doing.

Let them worry about the books - our job now is to enjoy and get behind the team.

Decent amount of first-team players have left too though, these aren't all net adds to the finances.

Funny how timing works out. The international break could be at exactly the right time for us.

I know we have a few away on international duty, but we have some solid time with the rest of the squad and coaches to start the process of integration.

Those two separate teams of a 22 squad, as laid out by the OP at the top of this thread, is really quite a remarkable sight.

I'm trying not to get carried away but it's SO refreshing from the past window disasters.
