Don't buy cheap s**t bags then, no foxes touch mine..

Do you have fox proof bin bags?

Recycle proper my little friend in clase then you would not have no problems with foxes.

Mush, you have dreadful musical taste.

Remember Perch, "music is subjective, attack the post not the poster"

I tell you what if a squirrel was to suddenly develop the powers of how to drive a car, it wouldn't think twice of mowing us down!

Fair play. Brilliant.

I love animals butty bach, even grey squirrels, but it is undeniable that they outcompete our native red species, and also infect them with squirrel pox. They already eradicate greys in certain areas of the UK, where red squirrels are being protected, like Ynys Mon. Give me a lovely, native red over its bullish grey cousin every day.

Doesn't matter, it's nature, don't interfere, fck the red squirrels leave them get on with it. We have no right to interfere.

We interfered by introducing the grey squirrel into our environment where it doesn't belong... Along with other nightmare species like American mink, American crayfish, rhododendron and Japanese Knotweed. All these have been absolute disasters for our native UK species.

Thanks Bryn, I won't pretend to know any of the history of the grey squirrel, In fact only upon reading this thread, I get they may not be native to this country. In all honesty, they have never bothered me, I quite like watching them.

Haven't seen many spiders YET!

F*ck, we have! I always have a glass & card handy during September when they're on the move, in fact I have 2 sets, 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs. Last week, I went to get a spider out of the bath and soon realised I had to go and get a pint mug as the glass wasn't big enough FFS! Massive bugger it was and it was in the process of devouring a moth!

Squirrels are just rats with better PR.

Quite right. Anyone who think they're cute needs to take a walk around Singleton Park gardens, They'd see the squirrels and rats living together quite happily

Different species living happily alongside each other is usually down to differences rather than similarities i.e not competing for food.

Rats and squirrels don't compete for food? :D Take a trip up Morriston hospital and have a look at the bird feeders there. Most of the time they're swarming with rats! It's irrelevant to the point anyway, as if they're co-existing the chances are they're carrying the same diseases, that's the point being made here. ;)

Strangely enough there were 3 dead ones on the same stretch of road on Saturday. Thought it must be a squirrel crossing. Since then 2 more have just been running down the road playing chicken if that's possible. I thought they just tasted like that.
