• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Ebo and his utopian dream world fantasy politics  ... He doesn't speak for the majority thank Christ

Isn't it funny that 5 years ago Jeremy Corbyn suggested nationalising our energy companies and raising the living wage to combat the cost of living crisis and every one laughed at him. No one is laughing at him now are they?

Tell me skip, what magic policies has the Starmtrooper got then? At least the manifesto in the last election was fully costed for and proven. Just a shame a lot of thick cunts chose brexit over sensible politics and now they are paying the price. JC could come out and say 'told you so' but he is not a cunt like 99% of politicians.

That first para reminded me of dear old Bob Monkhouse.

"People laughed when I said I was going to be a comedian. They're not laughing now."

I was having a chat about this with some of the family the other day and expressed my not really enjoying comedians who rely on the format of 'one sentence setup, punchline'.

That Monkhouse quote reminded me that when it's done as well as that, it's much funnier than I was arguing. That really is a brilliant line.

WAs it Barry Cryer that wrote it? He used to do a lot of that sort of thing. If he wasn't dead he could write for Starmer at PMQs. Ripping the piss out of Johnno week after week would be more effective than much of what he's been doing. His delivery would kill it anyway, obviously.
