• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

I bet he's delighted!!!! Another relegation from the prem ahead plus millions in compo after he's sacked

He has a decent Championship manager record. They just need to sack him when he gets them up.

He's got a more than decent Championship record. And he's got a decent Premier League record.

Got to be honest, he seems like a nice chap but I wouldn’t be overly enthused with him coming here as manager. Martin has made plenty of balls ups and at times it’s disheartening to see us so inept but I really hope we persevere at least for this season and next with an aim of settling in to a system and starting to threaten at the sharp end again.

I agree, and last night showed what 'The Process' can be when it works. Bluddy beautiful. Admittedly Albion were fairly p*ss poor for much of the match, but then again we're still a work in progress too. Having to bring on Korey Smith in the last 15m to keep the result intact just goes to show. If Martin will just be allowed to strengthen in the summer and clear out the dead wood, we could go far. Maybe we need to work on a Plan B when the better teams figure us out though. I can't wait to see how Fulham cope with our style. I think they'll be right in our faces, pressing the ball from the off.

I watched Fulham v Cardiff. Cardiff pressed much harder than Fulham all over the field. That one will be the real test of coping with a full on press I think.
