• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

He didn’t say that in the press release though did he? (Shrews chairman)

Unless I’m mistaken he said he has to make a decision which benefitted the club for the future which indicates to me a financial offer. He couldn’t go into more detail due to confidentiality.

Well unless they're doing a Cooper style retainer thing I don't see how that adds up because he has officially left the club, and hasn't currently joined anyone else, so they can't have had any offers for him?

It looks like letting Cotterill go was in the works for quite a while. They fired their chief executive and hired a director of football, both without consulting him. If Swansea offered anything for Cotterill I'm sure Shrewsbury jumped at it. Really hoping this wasn't the case though.

Pretty sure they’re still honing in on a shortlist of 3.

So, any nonsense spouted on SM or other outlets is just that right now…..nonsense.

One particular magical chap elsewhere has a perennial reputation for spouting speculative, ‘look at me’ nonsense. And always, always fails. This year is no different.

Patience is a virtue some will never, ever grasp.

Cotterill leaving Shrewsbury has been on the cards for a while. There has been a lot of backroom reshuffling there and Cotterill hasn't been happy that he has had no input or dialogue regards the situation.
I think this is just a case of putting 2&2 together and coming up with 50.

I think the favoured guy is currently in a job.

Dudley Lewis?

So it's not Chris Davies or Struber.

Smells like Eustace, surely we won't prize away Schumacher.

Wouldn’t be too sure regards to Schumacher. He’s who my money is on.

He's got 4 years remaining on his contract though! And has just been promoted to thr division we're in. They'd want millions surely?

For the life of me ,I cant see Cotterill getting us into top 6.

Schumacher would be an exciting one for me, done absolutely amazing with little Plymouth, surely he’d want Morgan to stay though and there’s talk we’re chatting with Rangers over a fee.

Yes

Emphatically

Just for clarity, I only posted the thread hoping for the rumours to be nonsense. Not heard anything regarding him; or anyone else really.

Maybe the betting has been taken down because Martin is actually staying and will announce a contract extension

Haha. Can definitely say that’s not happening.
