Summer Transfer Window

Sorry Jay, you’ll have to excuse this lot. They pander for an 22 man squad of first team starters. Away with the fairies aye.

Get your head down son and produce when called upon 💪🏻👊🏼

Yeah, we're all absolutely off our chunk us supporters aren't we. We demand the new owners spend £100m this summer to get us back up to the Premier League, we definitely don't understand FFP and PSR and we're all definitely not realistic about where the club is at.

So go on Jay, you show us pal, show us all that talent you've been repressing for 12 years to date 💪🏻👊🏻

That's the thing though Neath.
Can we afford to be paying his wages when he isn't one of the first names on the team sheet!?

Times up, should be the first name on the team sheet given his age, experience and what he is pulling a week.

Is Fulton that bad? He got to 2 play offs with us starting every week? Just don’t talk about his red card in the final.

Of course he’s not, he’s an easy target though. They want to replace him with first team starters.

How much wages is he on (don’t answer because you don’t know) compared to a transfer fee / signing on fee / wages, of some superstar who is going to replace him.

It’s not championship manager mun.

In a style of play where his only expectation is to keep the play in front of him, hold his shape and break up play and lump the ball on to forwards to do the actual creative work (Cooperball) four years ago he could do a job.

Fast forward four years and hes worked under two managers who obsessed over possession above all else, this is in part responsible for him becoming the ultra safe 6 yard back pass specialist he has become. At times Williams played him in an attacking role but he would look utterly lost, just traipsing around the pitch for about 70-75 minutes before being replaced by someone who would make more impact in 15 minutes than he did in 75.

The problem that Fulton has is that he is unable to channel his aggression in a positive way, you could compare him to Franco and Franco is by far the more aggressive player off the ball, but he gives away a fraction of the fouls and yellow cards that Fulton does.

And on the ball he offers far more industry, willingness to receive the ball and ability to distribute the ball to attacking areas of the pitch. Literally the only benefit Fulton offers compared to Franco is that we can't play two Francos.

The wage he is on, he should be one of the first names in that starting team.

If it were championship manager then you could get away with keeping him. Unfortunately in the real world, Jay isn't really contributing to a level his experience suggests and the wages he is being paid.

What is Jay, is he holding midfielder, a box to box player or a creative attacking midfielder!?
I can't really give the answer myself.
