What i can't understand is that AS has started the last 2 games with no strikers ( i dont inc Cullen as a striker ) and have ended up chasing a result by throwning on the big guns late in the game, surely it would be better to play a full strength side from the getgo and get themselves into a position where they can replace with the youngsters once the match had been secured.

I know as fans we’re naturally worried and want the best for the team and I do have slight doubts about Sheehan myself but some of the business we’ve done looks more than decent to me.

It does seem Sheehan when he likes a player he sticks with them. You can put Fulton and Cullen into that bracket. I would of been throwing in youth alongside Burgess. I imagine Lissah will be the one to step in. But I fear Fulton will be starting on first day of season in defense. I'll say it now. Swansea 1 - Middlesborough 4. Oh god I hope I'm wrong

I really do hope I am wrong. But we need more than 1 or 2. Looking at injuries and the bench I would go as far to say we need 4 to 5 more.

Vipotnik in my view will never be a Sheehan guy. He couldn't make his mind up last season with Cullen and Him. Even tested with Bianchini. It seems Cullen is more likely to start. With Wales not fully ready, we need a striker ASAP. Add defense to that as well.

Based on the last quarter of last season I think a top 10 should me our aim especially with the recruitment we've done so far. Saying that the league looks more even and competitive with both Birmingham and Wrexham pushing for playoffs spots.

Conservative - top 8 to top 6 I think

Santos going to be out for the early part of season. This will likely speed up the process of getting few defenders in.

And a good thing we know this early on, I agree that knowing the new proactive approach they will be going all out getting bodies in wether on loan or perms .

So Santos is out for a long period, Cabango out for a while, Lissah back soon. So basically we need 2 Defenders, Left Back, Midfield and Striker. Oh and possible Keeper if Fisher Goes. I'm I worried?

Better these things happening now than just before the season kicks off. We have time to recover and get the right person/s in

Admire your optimism but we shouldn't underestimate the overall contribution of O'Brien in those games.
