Decent outfit, unlucky not to take something away from the game. Look very similar to us and better than us in the second half.

Take a bow Jay Fulton, tried to get some sort of control of midfield in the second half with very little help from team mates. Showed a bit of class.

Nathan Wood, still seen nothing to suggest he should be in a Championship starting 11, struggling.

Need to stop to thinking we’re better than we are and stick a foot through it when being pressed and use the full width of the pitch when in possession. Players in great positions being ignored in favour of turning back.

Fortunate to take the points today.

Fair points. Don't think they created many chances in that second half despite the pressure. It always felt like it a goal was to be conceded again it would be us handing it to them.

So much faffing but that's a game we'd have lost six weeks ago

Latibeaudiare, i know he's only just come back from injury but as a wingback he's absolutely clueless going forward. Can't remember the last time he actually beat a man and created something.

I thought Wood was ok today and was surprised when he got hooked. Was expecting Sorinola to replace Lati, or at least that was what I was calling for.

To be fair… I think we faded in the 2nd half after playing 3 games in quick succession, with playing 117 mins on Wednesday night… we couldn’t keep the intensity up.

It was good that we could rotate the team a bit today and I didn’t look at the line up and think it was any weaker.

They deserved a draw but they didn’t get it so fuck em. We’ve had our share of underserved losses and draws.

We’ve lost to a lot worse teams than Sunderland this season so that’s a positive.👍🏻

Not sure what’s up with Piroe, while you can’t fault his work rate. His touch and even simple passes went to pot. Hopefully he can sort out what’s going on but there where a lot of basic mistakes today.

He's not a lone striker. I don't care if he prefers it. Without someone like Paterson behind him he looks completely lost most of the time. He's a #10 behind Obafemi for me.

I'm not sure they did mind, thier keeper kept the score down whereas Benda had very little to do most of the game...

Yeah you have to remember we have played twice away from home and then again at home in the space of 8 days.

Id agree with this - Piroe doesnt have the first touch to be a lone striker and today he was the obvious downside

This is very true - they did push hard in the second place but it was definitely not a day where we held on by the skin of our teeth as Benda was an observer for much of the game

I felt this.
A lot of huffing and puffing from them, but we made hard work of putting the game to bed and let them back into the game.
A lot of tired legs out there.
They will be glad of a week's break

Fair. On reflection. It just seemed they were on top of us and we were defending pretty desperately. Was anyone really that confident in the ground?
