I have queried this but I didn't get an answer. It can't be actual investment (unless it's some sort of no strings attached gift) because that would trigger dilution which the trust would surely have highlighted.

In the same article there's also a worrying reference to something accruing more interest too. Not sure if that means the club is paying more interest or what.

I thought stuff like this was always available on Companies House.

Martin’s comments of “we are not asking for the world” suggests there will be very little investment, perhaps even less than he had expected.

I'm not 100% sure but I think it can take a while to register / show on there.

The loans took a while to come through.

Is that further new ‘investment’ then (another loan?) on top of the known Silverstein £5 mill loan?

The Rodon money all makes sense and its not unusual for the club to borrow against future installments

ANy "investment" will be a loan of some sort -probably convertible and you would assume the Trust would know about it (is that part of the delay in talking about the legal case?)

I dont know what the investment could be, maybe Winter has been stacking up on antique pianos or something

Aye but still disappointing that we have to give some of what I considered to be an already low fee for Rodon to a bank.

I'd like to think the trust had been informed (although why haven't they passed that information onto the members), although they weren't fully briefed on the last CLN before it was made public. They are still awaiting further information requested and it's over a year old now. So who knows.

Zero mention of legal action?

An update months alluded to a big announcement.

What's going on!?

“A word here too on the ongoing legal situation around the 2016 sale of the club. We were hoping to have been in a position to update members before the end of the year but our legal team have advised us that due to some confidentiality aspects this has had to be delayed a little longer. I have been assured however that a detailed update to members should be available very soon.”

Personally I can’t see it happening now. It’s a while since I was involved but they must be getting close to the limit (time wise) where they can’t do it anyway.

The balloon on the Indy site will be happy if it doesn't happen, so I hope it goes ahead and we don't make the pathetic articles day, hopefully stop his endless threads of guff

Its not goping to happen is it?
The current Trust board appears too pally pally its amolst back to theHuw Cooze days....Pac Ze bus /Resolven swan will be happy

Look out soon the Trust will have no director once the shareholding is diluted

What a mess

Especially if the story that they have put new "investment" into the club is true - further dilution incoming

I think this is the majority shareholders strategy...the Trust will be left with little or nothing....of a shareholding and no monies either....
As has been said the clock is ticking but i doubt the blue touch paper will be lit ....what was a once dream come true has become a nightmare....and worse we werre shaftewd by our own!

For once we are totally on the same page. Nice. Well the situation isn’t nice, as it’s a “trust” not acting with their members mandate. As soon as the big hitters were done with it, I suspected the pygmies would show their true self important committeeperson colours. Well actually they don’t even have the courage to show their real colours. Let it time out, is it, and then say “not our fault”. Well it will be. Members (I won’t be one) need to keep their eyes on these punters, and what they do from now on.

They can still ram all this down our doubting craws of course. I would accept then I have no judgment, and Cooper was a genius (sorry Vetch…it was never going to last…🤣 🍺)

Threads and posts I mean sorry,

I'm convinced now that the lack of information coming from the Trust regarding the legal action is because they are negotiating a deal with the Yanks and , to facilitate that, they've agreed to enter into an NDA. The Trust has refused to answer any of the several detailed questions I've posed regarding the legal action and it has the hallmarks of an NDA. I was however told last week that they were hoping to get news out to members within a couple of weeks, so on that basis we might hear something by the end of next week.
If there is a new deal in the offing, the big issue is whether they just agree it or whether it's put back to the membership - it surely has to be the latter. If they do release that info next week, they've got just enough time to carry out a vote and still carry out legal action by early March. That's right on the wire for the 6 years limitation period.
