That's a big statement considering he's barely played, how do you know he's no better than the youngsters?
Youre missing the point , its not our opinions that matter. We are the fans, who don't know shite from brasso of what goes on behind the thinking's of any managing team.

So basically rm has taken a dislike to the guy, I do get your point though. Came across as that was your impression of the lad.

I have only seen him at the Liberty come on as sub at WB, looked like orders to feed him were in place. My impression taking everything above into account was a couple of whipped passes and i think one mistake he was ok, i was a bit surprised that this lad wasn't stronger both physically and with the ball considering Whitaker was farmed out.
As other posters have intimated somebody didn't do their job properly allegedly.

Didn’t we scrape 400K together to sign this guy in his last year of his contract? Be lucky to get that back.

Exactly all the more reason for the Manager be told to sort this situation out and get his head right [if its not already of course] and coach him into a player that you can be comfortable with, he's done it with others, so it doesn't seem like something he can't do, which I've have accused him in recent past.

No bid has been made.

Are Vital Swansea not reliable? They stated a signing was imminent on Saturday and still nothing has come from that

Yeah he is. I know that for a fact.

Although things take time, imminent in football doesn't always mean a few days. There could be a hold up in Downes deal etc and we need to get him off books before bringing anyone else in.

Just another point on this on top of my original reply, I think the news we have seen in regards to Liam Walsh today could be the reason this “imminent signing” hasn’t been announced.

As I put on here before, Vital reported this months back that he wasn't part of Martin's plans and has turned down moves.

It's on Martin's head though for me, we are short of any sort of pace and he's bombing out one of the very few who has a bit. Bad call imo but proof will be in the pudding.

This is a prime example of why the manager should get the final say on signings. RM obviously doesn’t fancy him, so why was he signed in the first place? Now he’s reluctant to leave and it’s possibly preventing us from bringing in a player RM DOES want.

It looks as if he was reluctant at first to leave, but now has conceded Martin won't play him and will be off.

Hopefully that’s the case mate. Nothing against the boy obviously, he’s barely played enough to form an opinion on him, but if RM doesn’t fancy him then it’s best that he moves on so he can play games, and we can (hopefully) sign a wing back who will play.

For someone whose entire pro footballing career was as a defender, Martins tactical instructions, player selection and ability to provide solutions to on-field challenges is fcking hopeless.

Does not compute.
