Last good thing he did for us, besides leaving. Least he could do really given what had come before.

As for the other, he was gone before these high-earning players contracts reached expiry. Not sure how he could solve the issue of having a player whose contract is running out and is (understandably) unwilling to sign a new deal on massively reduced wages that the club can actually afford?

Sell Connor for what we can get now or lose him for nothing in 12 months? As long as the transfer fee is reinvested in the team, I have no problem with getting something for him now.

It's not like we didn't let good players go for peanuts under his stewardship. Pablo made us look pretty stupid didn't he?
