• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Credit where credit is due. Easy listening and professional. I enjoyed it tonight.
I think the first thing we have to be grateful for is that the commentary was in sync, unlike Saturday. I could also do without them putting the match on the site 1 minute before kick off.

We must be one of the few sides in any of the top four divisions that doesn't run two commentators
Banter and back and forth between commentators can make the commentary so much easier to listen to

Agree. Easier for the solo commentator too. Takes some doing to commentate for a full 90 minutes with no respite. Don’t know the bloke but he deserved a heads up I thought.

Or Leon.
Very intelligent pundit.

Although I do miss the Swansea JB Wyndham Evans's total commitment to being as biased and excitable as any fan.
Especially during our eastern cousins away!!!
I like mr. Evans’s excitement but sometimes it’s an over kill. He can give you a hart attack even if the ball just killed a bird flying over the stands🙂

I may be in the minority but I never found Leon's comments as a co-comms very insightful. A lot of the time he just repeated the same words used in the question by AOC. Much preferred Trunds, Robinson, Toshack C, or even KOL (I think), believe it or not.

When we score a goal half the time I'm not sure if Wyndham is having an orgasm or an aneurysm
Equal chance of both I think

If money is the problem, I'll do it for nothing. 😅 BTW, I haven't lived in Wales since September 1970 so I don't have a Welsh accent, don't know if that would go against me 🤷

Im curiosity is getting to me. What's your accent now? Do you have a Angel Rangel accent? 😜😅

Could be both simultaneously.
You wouldn’t know whether you’re coming or going.

This is one of the reasons I just can't listen to radio commentaries on the Swans. It's worse because you can't see what's happening and the commentator gets so worked up, I'm sweating we're going to definitely concede, only for it to turn out it's a throw in . Duh !!!

Have to say, one of the best co-commentators I’ve heard, was Kristian O’Leary.
Insightful, professional and knew his stuff.
