• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Looking forward to the game tonight
Be good to see the next group of youngsters coming through .
Hopefully there will be a reasonable crowd .

Anybody have any idea if this is being streamed tonight and if not where one can get regular updates TIA

Perfect night for football ,
Should be 500 to 1,000 here .
Have a team sheet .

0-1 down at the moment which is so frustrating as it was nearing the half time team talk stage.

We looked decent enough based on the 5-10mins that I saw, but that goal could be decisive should things not improve in the second half.

I pray that something goes our way, as luck definitely wasn’t on our side when what looked like a fumble from the goal keeper, presented the opportunity to poke home a simple tap in.

Not wanting to write us off, so does anyone have the lowdown on the majority of the 1st half that I wasn’t privy to?

Any lucky escapes from Rover’s point of view?

Our left winger Evans? went around their fullback a few times but nothing came from it.

Edit Callum Jones not Evans.

What an absolute brain dead penalty to concede , reminded me of Kris O' Leary in his heyday. Good save from the keeper though.

The nightmare 2nd goal for Rovers came true.

It’s an uphill struggle from here and, try as I might, I can’t muster the positivity to see us getting back in the game somehow, but somehow I’ll still be watching to the bitter end.
