Swans vPeterborough FA Cup 1965

30000+ watched 0-0 at Peterborough followed by 29900 watching the Vetch replay three days later in which Derek Dougan absolutely ruined us.Peterborough won 2-0.I know this is still Peterborough’s record crowd but was wondering was this the Swans record crowd before Arsenal game cos I know that record league attendance was 29500 against Leeds in 1955.

It was Burnley Fa cup rd 4 January 30th 1960. 30,060 .We drew 0-0 with them and lost the replay 2-1.Burnley became league champions at the end of that season.Out of interest their next home game in the fa cup was their highest ever gate of 52,850.
