Well playing as a winger if he is prepared to develop the defensive side of his game then right and left wingback are very much spots he can stake a claim for

Funnily enough watched Mesa a few weeks ago playing for Valladolid against Barcelona, he was the stand out player in the first half, run out of puff in the second and was subbed off after 55 minutes.

He was an odd one. Definitely had something though. Just seemed over motivated.

But yes could definitely play...
 
U21 football isn't a great standard mind, it's league two football at best, but saying that, the championship isn't great either, so there's hope for some in the academy
