Swansea City’s afternoon’s work was as good as done inside the first fifteen minutes this afternoon as they put Peterborough United to the sword with three first half goals on the way to three more home points. It was a classy display from the Swans in the first half against a Peterborough side...

Just reading the Posh forum to gauge their impressions of us yesterday and they were impressed...not with Darren Ferguson though.

"Despite you saying that "you say what you see" there is no mention of the game performance by Swansea. It is my opinion that they are going to be one of the surprises of the division. Russell Martin is beginning to really grow as a manager. When he was at MK his side always completely dominated possession and their pass ratio was phenomenal. All they needed that season was a goal scorer but that was not to be. Now he is plying his trade at the next level and has goal scorers within his squad. Watch his team shoot up the league!
I agree that we had a very poor game today but there was no way that I could see how we could combat their very slick and incisive passing. Most of the passes were between 10 and 20 yards and played in little triangles. In retrospect they were superb!"

And,

"I said to another fan at halftime, that we were being outplayed by a far better side...Their declaration at half time meant we were spared further embarrassment, in fact the only good thing we can claimed to have drawn the second half. Sadly Swansea played out the second half in second gear, and we still couldn’t managed to get their keeper to make a save. Hearing the home fans afterwards saying how bad we were, was the opposite of our response, we weren’t bad we were completely outplayed, outthought and outfought."

As was often quoted on the A-Team, "I love it when a plan comes together."
