• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Anyone looking from the FA will see him as a manager who won the U-17 World Cup with England and in his first club management role got his team into the playoffs in his first season, while he has them in 3rd place in his second season. They'd also see him doing that while giving lots of young players their first real taste of first-team football.

It'd be more surprising if England didn't at least take a good long look at him. He's already done more in management than Aidy Boothroyd has done in his whole career after all.

Surely he wouldn’t be interested in that role now.

LMAO

Sorry didn’t mean to quote. I agree with you.

Steve Cooper is being reported as being on a list to replace Aidy Boothroyd as England Under-21 boss should the FA decide that a change is needed at the helm following the European Championships. Boothroyd has watched his side lose the first two group matches of the finals of the competition and it...

That's the same group of players 4 years on.

We won't be replacing him with Boothroyd then.
