All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Swansea City have recalled Brandon Cooper from his successful loan spell with Newport County.

The 20-year-old has made a big impression during his time at Rodney Parade, making 25 appearances in all competitions and scoring his first senior goal.

He was also named the EFL's Young Player of the Month for October, and will return to the Liberty Stadium following recent injuries to fellow defenders Ryan Bennett, Kyle Naughton and Joel Latibeaudiere.

Cooper - who has been on Swansea's books since the age of six - also recently signed a new deal in SA1, extending his time with the club through to the summer of 2023 with the option of an additional year.

Great news, shame for Newport tho.

He looks like another quality centre back... which with our current injuries we need.

Why? Are Ryan, Kyle and Joel long term issues?

Sounds like Ryan could be back for the Barnsley game... not sure about the others.

Gutting for county as he was doing so well. Just hope Guehi ain't going back.

Unless the injuries are more serious than first thought and Geuhi's on the move Cooper will surely only be bench sitting!
Offering them Ollie Cooper might be a good option for them and us.

If Geuhi's not going back, still think its a good move, at the least it will give good cover for the rest of the season, as the last cple of weeks has showed "injuries happen" when least needed. lets not forget Olis loan when we were in the Prem, and we needed a striker.

Guehi won't be going back. As good a prospect as he is, he is not the answer that Chelsea are looking for right now.

I've got reservations about Cooper being able to make the step up. Even against League 2 strikers he' seems to be all shirt-pulling and grappling. In one game the guy he marked was on his third shirt inside half an hour.
