What I have said, is very true to my heart. I would never beat around the bush with it, chuck them in the slammer for as long as possible.

It annoys me why people say community service would suffice, instead of filling up the prisons, yet they said ferk all, when last year people were having a 3+ year sentence, just for sharing a youtube or facebook video of the riots, saying 'go on boys', they had 3 years plus for a comment, nobody says ferk all, chop down a beautiful tree, hundred year plus old, it's don't tie the prisons up, Really?

Edit: Just to clarify, my point is.. How can people say this is a community service offence, when people got jailed for making social media comments?

The people that got jailed for the social media comments, could have been sitting there peed out of their heads, yet they had hard time. Now these tree felling goons, it was premediated, so 10 years is fair.

I've just read it, absolutely sickening, and the sentance pathetic, like I said earlier in this thread, we need a complete overhaul of the justice sentencing system.
And that said, although I think these goons that chopped down the tree, are complete and utter c***ts. Four odd years seems a little over the top, 12 months out in 6 months would probably suffice, plus the fact it'll mess up their lives, job wise etc for a good while, which serves them right, idiots.
