Just need enough weather for five overs of the Namibia innings and this is in the bag.

All that means that it’s England, WI, South Africa and USA in their Super 8’s group.

India and Australia will be the likely semi final teams from the other group.

They’ve even spawned an easier group? Name’s on the trophy.

I think it was decided before the tournament had even started. Changes only occur when one of the eight seeded teams is knocked out at the expense of one of the minnows. In the case of England, they now face USA instead of Pakistan.

Phil Salt has just smacked 30 runs off of a single WI over, this on the back of Bairstow having a strike rate of near to 200 since he came in. Batting masterclass from these two.

The first real sign that England can be a threat here, and coming at the right time after some of the mediocrity of the group stage.

Victory for England. Time for bed.

Engo have a punchers chance now. Doesn't matter whether they are first or second in the group, they'll probably need to beat both Oz and India to win it.

A very comprehensive win against a more-than-decent T20 outfit, it must be said.
The bowling performance was a bit loose at times but the pitch was excellent and WI were probably 20 runs short of par.

England got to the point of needing 90 from 9 and then just went mental. A real confidence booster.
