Takeover Confirmed

Coleman comes across as a passionate individual and I highly doubt he'd bring these guys onboard if they didn't the same enthusiasm.

Not all Yanks are the same.

Agreed, Coleman has emphasised the 'fresh start' aspect of this so we'll see how theyndo do things differently to previous owners.

He certainly has put his c**k on the block. The buck now stops with him (I know he's claimed he made decisions previously but I think everyone agrees that wasn't the case).

This damn computer I keep sitting in front of.

Positive news that certain people aren't involved in the decision making at the club, but as we've seen before nothing can be taken for granted,
Actions speak louder than words so only time will tell how much this change will benefit the club.
By what we've read the shares were sold for £3,000 and £20m made available directly to the club.
Question still being how much are we running at a loss and how much of that £20m is needed to cover the losses.
I just hope that we do see change and not just more words.

For now I'm optimistic, but not getting too carried away.
I’d say that the majority of the £20m will be directed towards keeping the lights on.

What I’m most interested to see is changes relating to academy, transfer and recruitment strategy. If we are going to break the cycle of loss making Championship season after loss making Championship season, then we’re going to need to restart the talent pipeline.

I love their engagement with the supporters 😂

Honestly, I'd say they were about as useful as a chocolate tea pot. At least you could eat the chocolate once it has melted.
Wouldn't that taste chocolate-tea...

*grabs coat*

Absolutely hate the management-speak word salad in the statement on the club site, I wish these people would talk like humans and not robots.

Other than that, it can only be a positive thing that the change has been ratified and that pair of twats have finally, definitely gone.

Fresh start and they get the benefit of the doubt from me until I see evidence otherwise.

Onwards and, hopefully, upwards.

“Data driven decisions”

That does not bode well. It’s the sort of thing people like me wrote for a living. Completely meaningless bollocks. But open mind, let’s see what these new chaps do.

"Data driven decisions" is all very American in fairness, we should be used to it by now.
Next Level...

Loads of teams make data driven decisions these days.
The leaders in this field are Brighton, Brentford, Liverpool and Arsenal.
