Nobody is going to pay that, he hasn't proven himself to be worth anywhere near that

Never rated him myself. He looks really out of place in that Chelsea squad - mostly technically gifted players whereas he looks a clumsy, uncoordinated, lanky centre forward. He's not even as good a goalscorer as Giroud.

Just my opinion, obvs.

Without Grealish they're a bottom half of the table team & they'd need to replace his creativity for any striker to get 15 - 20 goals for them.

If Oli McBurnie is worth £20m, Tammy is a bargain at £40m.

I think we all knew Oli McBurnie wasn't worth £20m as well

He's still only 23 and good for 15+ Premier League goals a season for most clubs up there.

£40m is a bit much but that seems to be the going rate for proven goalscorers.

Are you his agent?

Don't think he is any better than McBurnie, both decent options, I would probably prefer McBurnie back at our club if given the choice.

To be fair, he's done much better than I thought he would after his season with us. I thought he looked no better than Championship level, and he was a good part of the reason for us getting relegated.

Sadly, £40m is probably the going rate for a 23-year old English international striker at Chelsea. Villa would be mad - much better value overseas.
