So play offs secured and we have two games to effectively prepare for them

Derby Home
Watford Away

What would your teams be for the two games and who do you think needs game time to prepare for the play offs?

The team has looked shagged out for weeks. Blatantly obvious he needs to rest good few of em, maybe give 15 minute cameos to them to keep em ticking over. Give the stiffs a run out. Really couldn't give 2 fcks if we get battered in last 2 games, they are totally irrelevant. It'll be forgotten quickly should we get through the semis.

Whittaker and Cullen need to start both games. More experience plus they are young and haven't played much. Ayew on bench. Smith hasn't played much recently, start him in both.

The Ayew one I totally agree with - we need to keep him fit enough as he will be key in the play offs but not allow him to lose his sharpness - 15-30 minutes in both games should achieve that

Would like to see the final 2 league games used as a form of trial for the squad to see which of the fringe players can put their hands up to get into consideration for starting in the play offs. Would like to see how we go without Grimes in the team and try out the backup goalkeeper and youngsters on the bench.

These players would at least have had some game time before the play offs and would be more prepared to step in if needed.

Needs to strike a good balance between resting players and keeping them sharp. It's not an easy one but that's what the manager is paid for.

Definitely an opportunity for the youngsters/fringe players to stake a claim and I'd even put a couple of the young-young'uns on the bench for a run out if possible. Who's closest to breaking into the first team?

Knowing Cooper, he'll field our best 11 in both games and make 1 sub (in the 93rd minute against Watford) lol

Pick the players who will be playing in the playoffs then they might recognise who’s on their side.
And, Cooper has never prepared a team well when he has had a break.
Better still, hand the coaching to Ayew and Routledge.

Al-Hamadi has done fairly well for the U23s and deserves a game or two on the bench and training with the first team squad for the next couple of weeks.

Ayew absolutely must be wrapped in cotton wool, bench only and brought on for the last 20 or so each game to keep his match sharpness up. Same with Bennett who is key for some experience in the back.

I also want to see Whittaker and Cullen together up top, they are our future and we need to blood them together at some point or another. Would rather it be in a pressure free situation, same with giving Fulton a rest and hooking Hourihane after his latest shocker against Reading to give Oli Cooper and Dhanda some game time.

Plenty of those names mentioned above deserve a chance to put their hands up for consideration for the playoff semis. My preferred team:

------------------Woodman-------------------------
-----Latibeaudiere--Evans--------Cabango------
Rushesha-------------Grimes-------------Bidwell
----------------Dhanda--------Cooper-------------
----------------Whittaker-----Cullen--------------

Plenty of young and hungry players in that line up who will want to take their chance to impress and get some game time experience with the firsts, you can still have the likes of Bennett, Fulton, Ayew, Roberts and Lowe on the bench to get some game time too for the final 20 or so.

Thing is in this instance we are in no better position than the other three teams who can do the same with nothing to play for. Only time will tell who will get it right

First time in a long time (ever maybe?) that all four teams have secured play offs with two games to go

The very time a player gets injured is when it's on his mind not too. Wrap the leading players in cotton wool. They won't lose their sharpness by the time we reach the playoffs.

Didn’t realise this is a rule ... 'From the fourth Thursday in March, any team sheet for a League game should include at least 10 outfield players who featured on the team sheet for the League game before.”

If Cullen and Whittaker click Cooper would have no choice but to shit the bed.
