Anyone seen this?
It’s about an American Coach ( who knows nothing about “soccer”) brought in to manage a Premier League club.
A British show on Amazon, may not be for everyone, but we found it funny and not without many reminders of our time with Brad Bobley. Filmed at Crystal Palace ground.
The first episode was a little slow but stay with it and it grows. Ten half hour episodes.

Sorry , it’s on Apple TV+ not Amazon. 🙄

My wife has watched the whole series in 2 nights. She said it was awesome, and she doesn't really like football at all. She also said she was gutted by the ending ( not saying anything about it) and can't wait for season 2. I said to her " now she knows what proper fans feel like after watching their team "

Just like we were all gutted the state Bob left us in when he finished 😢

Back in the day, I can remember a series called The Manageress on TV, where a woman took over as manager of a football team. Cherie Lunghi played the leading role. Pretty sure it was on CH4. We’ve still not seen a woman manager in professional football which i think is surprising after all these years.

Used to watch that and enjoyed it.
Not surprised a woman hasn't been appointed in British professional men's football as far as I know.
Still full of discrimination

If Ted Lasso is on Netflix then I'll definitely watch it. Sounds perfect after a few drinks (like tonight).
