I take it the similar problems in areas such as NW England, North Midlands, NE England are also the Senedd’s fault and not the failure of austerity, Brexit etc? The Senedd’s record in education is poor, but social provision and public health is better in Wales. Ultimately it’s down to a low tax economy for the rich and corporations. I am a fierce critic of Corbyn and McConnell but their policies on taxation were progressive and fair. Would have cost me about a tenner a week, but would stop the situation of people in a rich country relying on food banks. I live in a relatively nice area but some kids in my wife’s school are reliant on school to feed them a decent meal.
