The ‘Vítor Matos’ Managerial Thread

The knives will be out in Jan though if there are no signs of improvement, particularly because there’s pretty much zero evidence of his managerial ability…

It shouldn’t be knives pointing at Matos though, much more so at those who have made the appointment. Anyway, let’s hope it doesn’t come to that.

There are 11 matches from now to Millwall away on January 4th. He's being thrown in at the deep end with a quarter of the season in six weeks and no international breaks.
Good luck, Vitor!

The owners will be anticipating a top six finish. Still plenty of time and a January window to get through. Welcome aboard butt.

I’m hoping he will have some links with Liverpool and the Red Bull teams with Klopp managing director for them, let’s see what happens but welcome aboard the Swansea rollercoaster Matos. 🇵🇹 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 🦢

Poor f*cker. Hope he knows what he's getting himself into.
I think he's either going to be chewed up and spat out in 3-6 months or go on to be a legend. Let's hope it's the latter.

Vitor Matos, you are now a jack bastard. Welcome aboard, mush.
Vítor 😉

Definitely a left field appointment, I'd love to know what led us to go for him.
No info about his backroom staff yet by the looks of it.
I wouldn't be suprised if the reason we went for him is that we knew nobody else would cos nobody's ever heard of him so we wouldn't get gazzumped. Not a criticism of the club just an observation.

Swansea are thought to have spoken to a handful of potential bosses since Sheehan's exit, but former head coach Russell Martin was not among them.

Martin was interested in returning to Wales, but Swansea's hierarchy opted against speaking to the former Southampton and Rangers boss.

That makes it sound like bidding for a broken egg on eBay.

I think Martin would be interested in Morriston 3rds the way his reputation is at the moment.

Where did you lift this from? Don't tell me...

Posters don’t half think up nonsense scenarios in their heads aye 🤣

Worst part is there’s plenty on here who will read something like that and take it gospel and will repeat it, then the next one repeats it and so on. The world is literally nuts with the advent of social media.
