£4.6 million loss to 31st July 2021.

Match day revenue down £3.4 million and commercial revenue down £1.4 million. That makes £4.8 million because of the pandemic.

Wage bill cut £14 million and operating costs down by £17 million.

Two loans taken out with Football League to cover covoid costs.

With the return of spectators this season it is likely this year's running cost will be covered by revenues

Last year we had parachute payments and sold Rodon for 8 figures. So no.

We also had a few big earners still on the wage bill that we couldn't shift (Ayew being chief among those)

I'm not sure our current wage bill is all that much cheaper overall. Ayew aside it's largely like for like.

So the club had loans from the league, Silverstein, American owners, sold Rodon etc but still made a £4.6mill loss?

Only one of those things is relevant to that question. That money covers the losses and running costs.

Been a bit depressing reading the social media reactions thinking this is OK, and this year's will be much better. Way off piste I fear.

Why don’t more fans make noise about these owners? They’re terrible. Never trust American owners of football clubs, they all run them into the ground.

LFC fans hate FSG (the owners). They actually hold them back. Liverpool are good these days because of the genius of Klopp, not the owners.

And Klopp was appointed by...?

Please feel free to supply evidence that Liverpool fans hate the owners also. I think you're mixing them up with the previous owners, Hicks and Gillet.
