• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Would have been better off taking the squad over to Spain or Portugal for a few days of warm weather training than playing a meaningless friendly that we are more or less guaranteed to get pumped in. Only negatives will come out of playing England at Wembley, and absolutely no positives. Crass stupidity from the FAW.
I sincerely hope I'm wrong. This is only going to end in tears,

Bellamy really hasn't put a foot wrong since he's been in post, but in his interview yesterday (i think) he alluded to England squad value compared to ours and said if it was a boxing match, it wouldn't be allowed.
First real mis step for me. Admitting we don't have a chance before the game kicks off.

What he says in public and what he tells his squad in private may be very different things.
The English media, being what they are, will now expect a minimum of a six nil win and it ramps up the pressure on our opponents.

I expect the Sais to win 6-0 too.

Thing is, if we were to overturn ridiculous odds and actually win I think that might also take so much emotion, it would lead to a massive comedown against the Phlegms. Like when we Marvined the scum and had nothing left for Brizzle.

It's just a stupid unnecessary fixture against the world champions of friendlies and punching down.
