• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

🤣 Boycott mumbling "this nonsense will never catch on".

“Ruddy run rates
I still remember him and Brearley totally farking up the World Cup Final in 1979. Pair of snails taking up loads of overs. Tosspot used to bowl by turning his cap the wrong way round too.

Everyone following had to swing the bat against the West Indies. Loads of ducks and wasted talent...Gower, Botham, Randall, Gooch, all wasted. They'd have lost anyway of course, but still.

My favourite part of the Boxing Day test was Labuschagne’s tantrum at being given out on (umpire) review despite being clearly caught cleanly at slip. I do not like Marnus.

I concur.
I don’t think he gives 100% for Glamorgan which is very unprofessional. He’s happy to trouser the money though.

Former Aussie Test player Damien Martyn is in an induced coma suffering from meningitis.

Five hours. We go again. One last time. Forlorn. Defeated. But always optimistic. I reckon if we can get back to 3-2 we can claim to have retained the moral Ashes. Yes. Let’s go with that.
🤣🤣. Care to explain?
