Is the league so competitive or poor standard, a mixture?

We've all had thoughts on what couple of signings we need. The same can be said of many teams.

Not poor no. Some good teams. Rotherham and Sunderland showing you can put together a good team on an average budget that can perform.

Burnley aside, anyone can beat anyone, and and any team that can put together 5/6 results will be top 6 (i. e West Brom )...so the only conclusion must be it's an average league/standard at best.

if we hadn't had thrown away stupid games then we'd be top of the league and heading back to the prem

The playoffs make the league. Without it, the season would be over for us and a lot of others already
