The Disappearing Thread

I’d be interested to know why the thread was dumped? 🤷🏻‍♂️
It was dumped because I’m a Cardiff fan, have an opinion that differs from some of the clowns on here and was around long before the Hull game which some people believe was the most critical point in our history.

I disagree with most of what you post, you do however post your rationale for most of your thinking, and there are people who agree with you.
I don’t think posts should be removed unless they are displaying bullying themes or dangerous to the site.
If people get offended then generally it’s on them to deal with that.

If I ever watch the swans with my old man I often feel like I’m watching a completely different game and in life there are always people that think in different ways.

You are not my dad by any chance copper? 🤣

I disagree with you more than most. I don’t know why it got taken down there was no need.

It's fairly obvious why the thread was removed, having another thread about it is pretty pointless.

Going to be a long summer, judging by this.

The buying of Idah was one of the most idiotic transfers ever. I hope we get something out of him next season in terms of his play, but £7m on him was bonkers. We have made some atrocious transfers over the last few seasons. We seem to get loan players that are truly not up to the job. We would be better off using our youngsters instead of getting crap loan players that are naff!

We bought Idah as a knee jerk reaction to failing to land Kone. The jury is our still on whether the fees spent on Idah, Widell , Inoussa, Walta and Stemanic were good additions or not.

You only said "I'm not seeing what everyone else is".. and all the facts back you up, he's got the same win % as Sheehan.. the only stat that truly matters, we've conceded a bucket load of goals lately 8 in 4 games.. Ward and Nunes were brought in and have been awful when coming off the bench, our accounts show we're losing 20+ million a season, god knows what this season's cost is, 7 million on Idah, confirmed by Dimi on here (which is f*cking insane in itself) 5 million on Inoussa and 3.5 million on Widdell.. Eom and Ronald cost a fortune and they've all contributed about 10 goal contributions in 2 season's.. Galbraith cost over 2 million, Stamenic cost over 2 million, Burgess signing on fee was probably in the millions.. Cabango got a new contract bumper pay rise and extension, Fulton had a bumper pay rise, Vipotnik signed a bumper new multi million contract, Tymon had a pay increase.. that's without all the players we've loaned in.. next accounts will be a shock to the system unless we sell Vipotnik and possibly Galbraith.. the owners didn't sack Sheehan, Montague and Worth for no reason.. we've had a poor season
Eom cost £1m, Ronald £1m, Fulton signed a new contract on reduced terms, not a pay rise. Galbs £1.5m. Burgess signing on fee wouldn't be in the millions.

This is only because Vipotnik had such a great season. Everyone here was wanting him sold on the cheap in August and Idah would have been brought in as the main man. As it was he had to play second fiddle

The 3 month injury was the bigger factor.

Exactly. It remains to be seen if he'll prove to be a good signing, but I think there's been some positive signs given his lack of minutes. I don't think we can deny he was a very expensive purchase for us, even if the current spend on the transfer is nowhere near £7m.

However, most of these Captain Hindsights hammering the club for his signing when we already had Vipotnik would also be moaning that the club didn't sign another striker if Vipotnik was sold/played to last season's level.

There are those who remain to be convinced on a lot of the club's recent signings, of which I am one, then there are those who would moan no matter what as it seems to be the only thing they enjoy.

Talk about it going off on a tangent!!
Anyway, I’m still none the wiser why the thread was pulled.
