The Enigma

and im afraid 'hourihane and grimes does not work, he should play at 10' is the absolute majority opinion

Can you be consistent in what you are talking about

You are effectively in your previous post about majority opinions blaming CH for our midfield issues to which I - rightly - said it isn't the case that is a majority view

So now you have switched it to a totally different opinion to try and make my response look wrong. But actually you have just made it look right by changing yours.

Try and be consistent in your view.

It is a dilemma. Hourihane can come up with a goal and does take lovely dead ball kicks but in all honesty, for most of the second half, I forgot he was playing.
Their first - Fulton under hit a pass to Gimes who had switched off as had Guehi and Hourihane didn’t track back with the scorer.
Second - our keeper was nowhere.
Third - our goalkeeper was !!!!
I have to laugh at some of our fans who are claiming we lost because we played ‘pretty’/ ‘possession’ / ‘good’ football ... they scored only after we stopped playing ‘pretty’/ ‘possession’ / ‘good’ football.

Um, Phil posted that he should play at 10 before your first entry in this thread?

I don't think anyone is arguing that the balance of the team looks wrong and Cooper needs to make changes, but blaming it all on Hourihane (even when you admit he's being played in the wrong position) is a bit odd.

whether or not he is playing in the wrong position is immaterial. He is not a fckin no.8 in a two and as a result it is costing us, fck me you lot are making me go senile!!

hourihane misplaced the pass for their first goal

So why are you angry with him and not the manager who is playing him in the wrong position? Do you see my point here? Would you have gone nuts at Leon if a manager had played him up front and he'd been crap in that role?

So whose fault is that?

The bit about where he is playing not about you going senile

yes thats on cooper but it still doesnt detract from the fact that we are weaker in midfield now because hourhane is playing there, as i have maintained for god knows how long

Cooper needs to start learning from his mistakes. Everyone on here was screaming for a change up yesterday. Pearson did and it worked and that shows the difference. I don't accept the "he's the manager he knows what he's doing" line. How many people here have had work done at home by professionals and questioned it. You wouldn't have a roofer out to do work then go "well he's the roofer he knows what he's doing" if he starts digging up the lawn. People make mistakes but the problem is Cooper doesn't seem to learn from his and they seem to be the same ones repeating themselves.

CH seems always to be in a position on the pitch to recieve a ball that doesnt need to be played to him and because its CH other players except ayew ( greedy cnut ) feel duty bound to pass to him even when better options are on, and in most instances this slows down our play

Dhanda gets a ridiculous amount of praise. I don't think he's anything special and would get bullied in league 1 and league 2.
Not championship level.

You have to wonder how Villa managed to get promoted with such a "liability" in their team. Maybe they were a bit more flexible with regards team setup and selection than we are.

That’s weird, I thought he seemed like a great signing a few weeks ago? Thought he would be the one to get you into the top 2 and keep you there aswell. Unbalanced the team has he?

New manager bounce is making Benny firm.

Enjoy the ride, the lows are coming.

No I was quite gutted we didn’t go for him at the time, we seemed a bit light there.....maybe revert to the team you beat us with as you were looking good then, just wait until after our visit right? :D
