I tell you what, I couldn’t really give a flying fuck about flags generally but I do find it cringey when the Welsh have to be draped in them and flying them all around the place the moment they step out of Wales, if the English did that here the Welsh would be first to shit the bed.

… and another thing, you’d have to be thicker than mince not to acknowledge that flag waving means different things to different people and that the connotations are wide ranging and far reaching. There is no doubt that some people will be happy-clappy flag-wavers whilst other ‘patriots’ will be using it as a weapon and anyone that says otherwise is either disingenuous, borderline racist or a massive tool.

Some people might feel intimidated and let’s be honest here, that’s the intention.

I noticed yesterday that there's a Welsh flag on the last motorway bridge before the second Severn crossing.
It's the wrong way round with the dragon facing right. Maybe an English person put it there as a slur.
