I'm a bit behind the times seeing this film; but for anyone who has, or is, or in the future will have to care for a parent with dementia, this is just an essential film to watch..

Many of us on Planet Swans will have been through the gut wrenching agony of seeing a loved one just drift away.

Mr Hopkins deserved his Oscar. He is just unbelievably good.

Agreed, Bryn. Saw it a year or so back. An extremely good performance and a tough watch.

Incredible bit of work. On a par with Rickys' Afterlife for pure raw emotion.
