• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Reform and their fellow patriots, usually huge advocates of free speech and opponents of censorship, are demanding that the BBC stop covering Glastonbury because people on stage are saying stuff they don’t like. I’ve hardly watched a minute of the festival but I’m very much enjoying it anyway.

They’ll be back to shouting at clouds and having ‘freedom marches’ next week. Oh and telling us that news is about to break about *Starmer that will finish him.

* I’m not a Labour voter before anyone chirps up about him being rubbish etc.

In many cases they’ll be literally shouting at clouds too. Cos the man is manipulating the weather or something. With aeroplanes. You’d think they’d manipulate it so that the club World Cup isn’t such a shambles.

This year you will enjoy Glastonbury more by not watching any of it...

I’d never heard of Kneecap before a few weeks ago. Still never listened to any of their music. Probably never will. But I can’t help but like them. They seem to upset all the right people.
I always get them confused with the Rubberbandits.

Today’s main stage line up looks very uninspiring.
I think the BBC have got Nile Rogers working 4 on, 4 off.

Nothing wrong with it. There’ll be artists you like and artists you don’t. Incredible festival.
I've enjoyed the bits I selected, a lot of it si not for me though, missed the Gary Numan set, found one of his songs, but again wasn't my taste.

why has she a blackbird sticking to her harris? im depressed enough without listening to her!

Watching Snow Patrol forgot about them and how decent they are, I just looked up their Drummer as I thought it was Tony Kiley, but its the Blow Monkeys he's same age as me and I knew him when we were kids he lived in same street as my grandparents.

I always liked Snow Patrol, had a couple of very good albums back in the day. Gary Lightbody had some good songs with Tired Pony also, an indie supergroup with Peter Buck among others.

Looking forward to Noah Kahan a little later, I've been enjoying his music. Also a celebrity who talks a lot about his struggles with mental health, a popular topic here today.
