• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Nothing ā€˜edgy’, nothing real-life, nothing hard hitting and lived experience about being a ā€˜singer of songs’ or a 'player of strings' etc.

I guess that is why Blur’s guitarist Graham Coxon stated that he preferred to listen to ā€˜normal’ people, with ā€˜normal’ opinions down the pub. More relevant?

And thus it came to pass, that despite bygone decades, nobody came along to (Paul McCartney) ā€œGive Ireland Back To The Irishā€ etc.

The likes of Kneecap, Bob Vylan and others will never change the course of history, or what happens on the battlefield in far flung places, and I guess the Israeli IDF have more serious things to worry about, because I reckon 'Pascal Robinson-Foster' from 'Ipswich' is hardly their worst nightmare? LOL!

Both things are true. Hamas have committed unspeakable atrocities. Everyone condemns them. Israel is currently committing unspeakable atrocities to an entire population. The world mostly turns a blind eye.
As proud Welshpeople how would we feel if the English army came into our national Eisteddfod and

You could have just typed ā€œI’m getting oldā€ and saved the rest 🤣🤣
They are appalling and earning a fortune for damaging their deluded followers ears, that's nothing to do with age, anyway you're not far behind me :ROFLMAO:

Music and especially Glastonbury has been political and about making points. Long may that continue. Just because the ā€˜less educated’ struggle with that, it’s on them. Fuck em.

Never seen so many right wing gammons be up in arms about a music festival before, and that was before Kneecap and the other chap done their thing.
There is a red line though 😳

I agree with your first two sentences. However my point was a different one as I was referring to how the political statement is made and not the underlying message itself.

My reference to the less educated is not about with the right disagreeing with the left, instead I am talking about increasing the possibility of folk taking matters into their own hands and going out to kill or maim MP’s and political figures.
Sensible.

Oh ffs can’t everyone stop arguing over this bollox when innocent people all over the world are being needlessly slaughtered.
Israel are massive cunts,Hamas are massive cunts and the Vylans are cunts but nowhere near as big as Israel or Hamas.

Grow up and stop trying to justify this genocide, murder, slaughter of innocent people.

Yes, let’s all stop taking about the genocidal actions of a country. Let’s talk about cheap trick instead.
