A lot of my customers seem to agree with my opinion that society has got much worse since Covid, been a lot of changes since Covid as well.
I don’t like to think in nostalgic ways and I’ve often thought in south wales we love it more than most. But something is amiss at the min.
Since Covid as you mention especially.
Just a casual drive watching world go by and people are just hunched in their phones not interacting not interested in doing so. People are intoxicated by 24/7 news and easy solutions.
People are quite happy to sit on their arse in their homes expect everything to be done for them and moan about the loss of manufacturing and pubs. Yet will buy cheap foreign tat and buy a crate from off license.
On a light hearted side remember the day when you could escape from the other half. Now there’s a million messages and no time for yourself.
Adolescence on Netflix showed the dangers of online yet we’re scared of the outside world for our kids.

People need to "man up" and get with the modern day, it's not going togo back to the 70's or 80's which apparently were the good old days.....in truth were shite as it's always been, your alive ffs live for the now, ungreatful twats

There’s always a need on this forum to rubbish a viewpoint.
I know it’s a strange concept but you can live your life and be happy while still be questioning some elements of modernity.
There have been advances and improvements in much of our lives. But there are also downsides which are quite striking.
Big Tech is becoming more corrosive and impactful in a negative way especially on the young and we are seeing a massive spike in anxiety and depression.
I loved the vetch but I recognised the need to move. You have to keep moving forward but you can’t pretend it’s all glorious and you can’t pretend it was all amazing back in the day.
I do think the online world which we all inhabit which is almost impossible to escape has made life easier but has it made us happier? The instant nature of everything is a little too easy I think and some of the joys are not there anymore.
It’s almost like the football saturation with sky and the “advances” in that.
But it’s about opinions and if you’re loving it and want more tech in our lives great. Happy for you.
