• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Paltalk seems like an eternity ago. Brilliant time as it was the radio and pretty much nothing else apart from going to the away games and we had some of the pompey fans on our stream at times. Half time entertainment was often as good as the games but we were mainly on the up in those days.

Thank you all for the warm welcome, both from the familiar posters that I recognise going back to the Guestbook days, and those of this forum.

I hope that Niallo also makes an appearance on here, because his academy match reports were legendary.

According to the closure message put up by the Guestbook’s owner, his invaluable contributions to the forum will continue to be posted on the academy section of the website, although the posts that he makes wouldn’t go amiss on this site as well.

Does anyone know him to speak to at all as, if he doesn’t decide to migrate to JackArmy over the coming days and weeks, I’d like to copy and paste his reports onto this site, with his permission of course.

I kid you not, when he describes what takes place on the field of play, it almost feels like you’re there yourself, such is the depth and detail of his reporting.

So Niallo, if you frequent this forum as a spectator, and see my post, please do consider contributing here, as I’m sure your reports will continue to be appreciated by your fellow Guestbookers, plus the JackArmy faithful that frequent this forum.👍
Absolutely more than welcome to paste them if he is happy or similarly I am more than happy to give him space on here to publish them to reach the relevant headline pages etc

Isn't there one called Adsubiajack as well? Isn't that where you live?
Yes, I have seen one posting on here called Adsubia Jack but I know nowt about him.
You're right, my village is called Adsubia, but it's quite small. If there was a Jack living here, I think I'd know. Maybe it's another Adsubia.

I have a speculative hunch that Asbudulai is Andylolla in another guise.
