I've never really liked Bishop's standup though I like the backstory.

I used to work with an obstreperous guy - a total w@nker to be frank - who's property bordered JB's. Hearing stories of JB's expletive-laden rants over their border disputes are the only times Bishop has actually made me laugh.

Would I Lie To You is, and always has been, funny as fk, mainly down to David Mitchell and Lee Mack, but Rob is a decent host. The BBC sell it all over the world. Bob Mortimer has never been funnier.

Rob is a very funny man. The Trips have always been brilliant. Gavin and Stacey was epic helped by Rob's Uncle Bryn.

John Bishop, however, is about as funny as a dose of clap.
