The Liberty/Swansea.com

The club are doing a memories thing on social media - just been reminded about the 5-4 win vs Palace. May not have been the highest quality or highest stakes match, but easily the most bonkers entertainment ever seen down the stadium imo. Absurd game.

Feckin' Marriner. There was no VAR because it isn't done at Championship grounds, otherwise the big tosspot would have seen that the penalty he gave Citeh wasn't a penalty, and their 'winning' goal was offside. May his balls wither and drop off.
I lost all respect for City after that game, their players were diving all over the place looking to win any opportunity they could for a penalty to get back into the game. There was actually zero contact on their player (either Walker or Sterling I can't remember which it was) and Mariner bought it.

I don't blame him for that, in real time its super hard to make those decisions but to not use VAR at a quarter final when the home ground is set up and able to do so set the stage for daylight robbery. City might have come back anyway they had pulled one goal back, but the two they did get after that should never have stood.
