Different around our way. The co op on Solva Road had a racial slur sprayed on the wall facing Carno Place and it stayed there for ages. I always wondered why it took the people running the shop so long to get rid of it. Perhaps they were trying to make a point, I don’t know. And once it was no longer the CoOp it was pretty much universally known as the “p*** shop”.

Occasionally one of the old shows comes on from the 70s and I’m astonished at what used to pass for entertainment. It’s just awful.
