Last week I painted the walls and ceiling of the back room. Mates were moaning in our Whatsapp group about how crap Wales were playing and one was looking for a film to watch instead. I offered them to come to my house to watch the paint dry.

I hate rugby and would never waste my time watching it.

So don’t watch it. How hard can that be?

I was taken to the Vetch and St Helens as a nipper, so I’m as much rugby as football in my bones. I like Rugby less and less, mainly because referees decide games for evenly matched teams based on ridiculous preconceptions. It’s not a fair sport. Neither is football of course, where money wins. Rugby in Wales is dying now anyway, so you can all stop fretting your pretty heads.

Fantastic sport, the best international sport in fact.

All countries / clubs go through bad times, and Wales are going through one now.

The people that are so vehemently against rugby are those that used to get filled in by little scrum halfs when they were younger. And it's a bit too complicated for them no doubt.

What makes it the best international sport, in your opinion?

Genuine question.

Many see modern footballers as a home for petulant, spoilt ,cheating ,arrogant ,entitled shits who are the worst role models possible

I enjoy both, but was brought up with Rugby and went with my father every weekend, he was an Aberavon fanatic and we’d traipse to all parts of the Country including Gloucester to watch them.
As I grew up football one of took over and I still enjoy both sports, but of late if truth be told the pendulum has swung back towards rugby. The way the Trust were treated has left a bitter taste.

I didn’t watch the Ospreys last night but they were lamped which, in all honesty I expected. The Ospreys supply over a third of the Wales squad and losing that number of players plus injuries means it’s effectively a second / third string team.
