Yes. To me simple. If they want a super region then that would have been Cardiff and Newport area as that it actually East. Swansea area is certainly South centraly speaking and Llanelli is really part of the greater Swansea area but this is Rugby and tribalism exists so they are West as there are no clubs further west.
The WRU have looked at figures and some people agree with what they are thinking but not actually the reality of what playing rugby means and where it is played.

The WRU is being run like an under 10s sport team. It's shocking that grown adults can't just do what most neutral people in the land can see that needs to happen.

Cardiff and Swansea need to stay and it's a scrap between Newport and Scarlets for the 3rd spot IF the 3 team route is the way.

I did notice that two of the local MP's have got stuck in to the debate but Tonia Antoniazzi (Gower MP) has kept deathly silent. No coincidence she is on the board of the Scarlets. Tonia you represent Gower constituents where there are a large number of people who are rugby oriented and live in Wales second largest city - remove your biased goggles and support keeping First Class rugby in the area you represent.

Unfortunately it's all about personal gain rather than what's best for the people(majority). These people in power will just do and portray what is best for themselves and their own.
You can't argue that Cardiff stays, they are the capital but it's absolutely bonkers that The Ospreys who hail from the 2nd largest city is being over looked with Llanelli and Newport favoured above them.
The lack of support and investment Swansea gets as the 2nd city is becoming disgusting and this Osprey situation is just a glaring confirmation of the lack of respect shown towards Wales 2nd biggest City.

Cracking game at the Brewery field tonight, 24-24 at the end, both the Ospreys and Lions could have won it in the end, pity about the atrocious weather, but strangely enough it added to the game.
