I got myself involved in an argument with an arrogant German lady and might have mentioned the war, once or twice.

Bizarrely, it was me that was asked to take my custom elsewhere, I then proceeded to "goose step" my way out of the pub.

Not my finest hour...

Used to be my favourite pub in the city centre and a regular pre match watering hole in the Vetch Field days.
They went down several notches in my estimation last season when I arranged to meet my mate from London there before the Sunderland match, along with a couple of his Sunderland supporting mates. I'd bigged up the grub there, only to find they no longer catered on a Saturday. We had to leave early and slog up to Rossi's.

Take no notice its fake news from scruff again, I was told that Morgan's group had bought it weeks ago and that nothing will change the pub will remain as it is for the foreseeable at least, similar is quoted in the WOS above.

Tina and another Lady used to sort the grub out, but it stopped a good few yrs ago now, I did here that Tina was ill, though not sure how she is now.

Would have been about 15 years ago Max, I'd just started seeing someone and it was her local, she knew the German lady and for some reason she took an almost instant dislike to me, the night in question I'd had enough of her and it all kicked off.
The relationship didn't last much longer either to be honest, probably the maddest loon I've ever been out with...
